·be courteous and respectful to all students, staff, volunteers and visitors
·treat other living things and the environment, as a whole, with care, kindness and respect
·use the computer/electronic devices/Internet with teacher approval in a safe and responsible manner for educational purposes
·be responsible for school property and my own property
Behavioural Expectations
As a Jack Chambers student, I will:
·act in a respectful manner
·accept responsibility for my own behaviour and recognize that positive consequences are the result of positive choices
·be inclusive and recognize the rights of others are as important my own
·use safe appropriate behaviour and language at all times
·be on time and prepared for class
Dress Code
Jack Chambers student dress is expected to reflect responsible personal judgement and a positive attitude toward school. Appropriate attire encourages a safe and respectful learning environment and is consistent with our Code of Conduct.
Clothing that poses a dangerous threat to anyone or is disrespectful or hurtful to a particular person, group, belief, or orientation is never allowed.
Footwear is important. Proper footwear will be worn at all times, both in school and on the playground; bare feet will not be allowed. Running shoes must be worn in the gym.
