The image of a Jack Chambers student is one whose manner of dress reflects responsible personal judgement and a positive attitude toward school. This is consistent with our Code of Conduct. Appropriate attire encourages a safe and respectful learning environment. The list below provides the general rules that will be followed by students.
- It is expected that hats are off and hoodies are down in the building
- Bare midriffs are not permitted
- Undergarments are not to be visible
- Revealing necklines, arm holes, low riding pants, transparent materials, or spaghetti straps are not permitted
- Running shoes must be worn in the gym
- Messages on clothing with offensive or demeaning language or references to alcohol, drugs or sexuality will not be permitted
- Proper footwear will be worn at all times, both in school and onthe playground; bare feet and flip-flops (thongs) will not be allowed
