2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan   

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents/caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focusing on:

1. Building a culturally safe environment and celebrating all identities present in our school community.
2. Creating safe spaces and building positive relationships as we address conflict and bullying.

We are doing this to ensure we are providing an environment where everyone feels included and represented, and to build a safe learning community.

Key Actions or Strategies

• Continue Please Come Do with Us: ask families to share expertise with classes.
• Bathroom Safety/Safe Spaces Campaign: to promote positive use of school spaces.
• Build the 5 R’s through Restorative Practices: staff support students with continued practice of the technique.

Community and Home Connections

• Ask your child about the things they enjoy about their friends.
• Ask your child one good thing that happened in their and someone else’s day.
